Works on Paper- Pastels
I came from Poland to Toronto Canada in November 1991 with my daughters ages 4 and 9.
I studied English in order to fit in with my new culture.
I couldn`t afford to buy canvases, so I painted on paper.
Many of the drawings were done in Rexdale Park meadow, close to the apartament building where
we lived. Some are from our trip to Algonquin Park in the Summer of 1992.
My daughters were playing and taking care of me while I was drawing in the field.



One pastel Tulips (21) took part in Works on Paper Show organized by the Federation
of Canadian Artists in 2008 and I was awarded Second Prize.
